The Hive House Story
Hive House was born from a simple idea: to create a stay experience as vibrant and dynamic as Cary itself. Founded by a family of lifelong hoteliers, we wanted to reimagine what extended stay could look like—comfortable, design-forward, and full of personality. Our spaces are crafted for travelers who want more than a bed; they want a place to settle in, explore, and thrive.
Backed by decades of hospitality expertise and a passion for detail, Hive House is part of the

Hive House Frequently Asked Questions
What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 12:00 noon. Need a bit more time? Request a late checkout in the guest app—just $35, based on availability.
How do I check in?
We’re fully digital. You’ll receive a link to our guest app by email or text the day before your arrival. From there, you can check in, access your room, and get all the info you need. Just arrive, unlock, and relax.
Is Hive House pet-friendly?
Yes! We welcome well-behaved dogs 35 lbs and under. There's a $75 pet fee per stay.
Is there parking available?
Yes! Free on-site parking for all guests. No permits, no problem.
Do you offer Wi-Fi in the suites?
Absolutely. Fast, free Wi-Fi is included—ready for work, play, and streaming marathons.
What amenities can I expect?
Suites includes a full kitchen, separate living and bedroom spaces, and bold design touches. The property features a Peloton-equipped fitness studio, cozy lounge with games and a pool table, hydration station, and plenty of space to settle in or spread out.
Do you offer housekeeping?
Light daily housekeeping is provided unless you're on an extended stay. We'll adjust service based on your stay length and preferences.
What’s included in the full kitchen?
Each suite features a fully equipped kitchen designed for real living. You'll find:
- Full-size refrigerator and freezer
- Microwave and stovetop
- Dishwasher
- Toaster
- Floating shelf stocked with plates, bowls, cups, and glassware
- Pots, pans, baking sheet, and cooking utensils
- Silverware and flatware for four
- Wine opener (because priorities)
- Dish soap and sponge starter set
Whether you're reheating takeout or making pasta from scratch, you're all set.
What is in the exercise room?
Our fitness studio has everything you need for a solid sweat session:

- Treadmill with built-in smart TV and guided workout programs

- Free weights up to 50lbs
- Adjustable bench
- Resistance bands and yoga mats
- Mirror wall for form checks and stretching

How close is RDU Airport to Hive House?
Just 11 miles away, a quick drive. Ideal for early flights or quick getaways.
Can I charge my EV on-site?
Not yet, but there are public charging stations close by. The nearest is CrossRoads Ford at 2333 Walnut St (~0.3 mi away), or the EVgo fast charger at Sheetz on Convenience Ln (~1.2 mi away).
Is Hive House walkable to restaurants and shops?
Very. We're walkable to food, coffee, shopping, and local favorites. Check out our local area guide for details.
Is there on-site laundry?
Yes, our laundry lounge is on the first floor and ready when you are. Washers, dryers, a folding station, and even a TV to keep you entertained while your socks spin. No quarters needed, it’s all app-based.
Is smoking allowed at Hive House?
Hive House is a 100% smoke-free property, no smoking or vaping allowed anywhere inside. Let’s keep the air as fresh as the design.
